Welcome to Third Field

Third Field is dedicated to knowledge alchemy – the creation of new knowledge and understandings about professional learning from the synthesis of the knowledge and understanding you bring, together with the external knowledge that lies in the public domain – research and current thinking.

We work as facilitators, coaches and creators of leadership development programmes – for individuals, for organisations and for systems. Click here to view a sample of our client base. We are proud to have developed the Standard for Coaching Schools.

Who are we?

Third Field is owned and directed by Glyn Rawlins and Mary Ann Stuart who between them have experience as headteachers (primary and secondary), journalists, LA advisers, leadership consultants,  coaches, coach supervisors, programme designers, inspectors and teachers.

We work with a number of key partners, including a team of highly skilled independent consultants who also work across a broad range of activities including coaching, facilitation and leadership development.

We are members of the Association for Coaching and the European Coaching and Mentoring Council
